Friday Fragments/Freewheeling Friday

This sign showed up on a garage up the street from us this week.
I wonder if the boy was to shy to ask in person or just being creative.

Doc had a meeting with a guy in Boulder last week. When their business was concluded the guy said "oh, let me give you my card."  This is  what he gave him.  It looks to me like he is a fun guy with a good sense of humor.

My daughter, Jill, posted this on her Facebook page this week. I loved it because I think she unwittingly described herself perfectly. Jill is the most easy-going, unflappable, take-it-as-it-comes,  sensible person that I know. She always has a smile and a kind word. She is a true role model to me.

  2. I don't think there's any 'just asking' anymore. Boys have to get creative. I feel for them...sometimes these prom invites rival marraige proposals!

  5. Congrats to your daughter on figuring that out at such an early age. Very impressive.

BTW - she should have put a sign on the garage? Steve? Bill? John? The guy did not even sign it...

  11. Kudos to you for a job well done with your daughter! I agree, it is so much easier to smile than to scowl (takes more face muscles).

The business card is too funny!

My girls' prom days are over. They didn't have very creative dates, but my boys made up for it!

    Have a wonderful weekend!
