Under Construction

I can't seem to resolve my header HTML issues on my own, I didn't get very many good pictures from Christmas and I don't do very well at making New Year's resolutions, so while my blog makeover is underway I am going "under construction" for a brief time. I hope it won't be more than a week or so, and I reserve the right to come back in all my HTMLy glory if the makeover takes longer than expected.

I've never had a facelift or anything of that sort, so I don't exactly know what a "makeover" involves. I don't think it is at all like when those Mary Kay ladies come to your house and leave with you looking like a much fancier version of yourself, at least I hope not. I don't think I will be coming back with a "sexy" page. I'm a lot more Pottery Barn than Laura Ashley. I'm hoping for a SimplicityRUs sort of blog makeover, with no nagging HTML issues.

I will, of course, continue to visit as many of your blogs as I can while I await my reconstruction and I will be looking forward to 2010 and wishing all of you a Happy New Year.

  2. Going underground is a perfectly acceptable way to deal with html woes. I'll keep checking back just in case you pop in to grace us with some code.

Looking forward to your new look!

    Happy New Year! Chin chin!

  3. How exciting! I can't wait to see the "new you!" I have two teens that I have been begging for help, but they are "off duty" right now due to winter break.

I also gave up resolutions years ago! What I try to keep in mind is working towards a more positive change - and having the courage to take that road no matter where it goes.

    Happy Makeover!!

  5. I don't even know what html is! I'd like to have more 'stuff' at my place, but really am still into simple and uncluttered. Maybe when I feel more confident in my computer skills. Good luck with this, and I'll look forward to seeing what you come up with!

  6. Under construction is a good time to get organized. I'm doing the same with my computer files, and then installing Windows XP. Can you believe I still don't have that?
See you when you're ready. happy New year.

  7. I resolved long ago not to make resolutions because I just cannot keep them, which means - of course - I'm back to making resolutions which I do not keep.

  8. You know, I really do need a makeover, but I'm too chicken to give it a try. Good luck with your "construction" issues!

  11. Well, Jeanie, your write-up almost made me get excited. I have been threatening to makover mine as it is still on the old Blogger. But I need to figure out how to copy my posts as I don't want to lose the journal type posts.
Best wishes with it. Thanks for peeking in, are you missing 6WS?
Today I made egg tacos (two, half egg each, one for each of us) with low fat cottage cheese and apple slices.
    Not, not my resolution, breakfast.
