The Right Supplies, A Great Time, And Back To Reality

Patty and I had a great time on our trip to Puerto Vallarta. The right supplies for the ailments we left with, a positive attitude, some sun, sand, and a couple of margaritas all made for a very positive and healing trip.

Starting with the right supplies,

we were able to enjoy the sun and the beach.

We enjoyed the sculptures done in sand

and the more traditional kinds of sculpture.

We got into the wild life, that is nature's wildlife

by meeting the hotel's resident Iguanas

and sharing our lunch with a visiting friend.

The sunsets were gorgeous.

The people were interesting,

and sweet

and beautiful.

All vacations end with a return to reality. Our reality was snow that started just as we were driving home from the airport.      Sigh!

  4. I'm so jealous! The last time I went to the beach, on a vacation with my cousin and her family to Florida, the wind was blowing so hard that we were sand blasted every time we went out the door! Especially loved photos of the iguana and pidgeon sharing your food!

  5. Oh girl, I'm so happy you had the perfect vacation. Your pictures are amazingly beautiful. My favorite is the last beautiful little lady. I can only imagine the stories she has to share! Now, tell me more about the sbit tissues, 'cause Mr. Snot knows your nose!!! That's funny!

I'm so glad you made it home safe and sound. Keep cozy and have a marvelous weekend!!!

  10. I am positively swooning over those vacation photos. Oh how I wish I could have tagged along. The sand sculpture and the resident iguanas were my favorites.

    Oh... and that sunset.

Welcome back though. You were missed.

  11. Wow, those are all such great pictures. I look at you in the sun and the warmth, and then look outside here, and the difference is, well, kind of disheartening. So I come back and look at the sun again!

So glad you had a good time!

  12. Woo-hoo! It looks like a fabulous vacation Jeanie.

The tissues are a crack up! The sand sculptures are awesome. The wildlife is a little scary (for me). And the people are beautiful.

What more could you ask for.
