Sleeping Beauty, Revisited

I  stole   borrowed this post from my daughter's blog, Making Memories Of Us, because I thought it was cute, it made me laugh and, well, because she said I could. My 3 year old granddaughter, E.J.  insists on having all of her favorite babies, blankets and animals in bed with her and she knows if even one is missing.
Apologies to anyone who has already seen this.

EJ takes forever to fall asleep at night. But once she does, it appears she can sleep in any position. Here are a few we have found her in lately.

Not too comfortable, but not too abnormal

At some point after we tucked her in, she climbed into Beck's crib to sleep.

Just kickin' back!

Where's EJ?

This is the one that inspired this post, taken last night.

E.J., wide awake after (maybe) a good nights sleep

  2. How precious! It's amazing how they find so many different ways to sleep, and they are actually asleep! Now, if we tried something like that... we would be the grumpiest of the grumpies!

Thanks for sharing. I love these pictures!

  4. Princess EJ is just too stinkin' cute!!! I love how she surrounds herself with her treasures. I couldn't count all the stuffed stuff that our Social Butterfly used to sleep with. Your pictures took me back a bit. Just priceless!

God bless ya and have a great day my friend!

  8. Those pictures are adorable. My daughter used to do that I forgot about it. EJ needs a bigger bed for all her friends and have room for her too.

  9. So funny.
My 8 year old slept with me in the camper this last summer(during our Grammy Camp)...I am sure that is what she does all night. Feet in my back...whap whap...roll...feet in my armpit...you get the picture. She so wanted to sleep with me and not be banished to the little fold out bed, she created a wall of pillows between us. I still felt her, but didn't have the heart to make her sleep elsewhere (o:

  15. I can always appreciate the cuteness of kids at this age. Three of my own, and now the grandchildren. We call my youngest daughter EJ too.

PS. Thanks for writing and asking about me.
