Something To Shout About

I'll warn you right here at the first that this post is about a laundry product, so if that is as boring to you as it would usually be to me, I apologize. The whole cooking, cleaning, domestic stuff is is not really my thing, so I surprised even myself when I found myself getting excited when I saw an ad for this new (or at least new to me) product.

The product, called Shout Color Catcher, does an amazing thing....it eliminates the need to sort your laundry into all those different piles of light, dark, colored and so forth. Yep, you just throw all of your red, blue, black and white clothes into the washer together and add a color catcher sheet and all those errant colors are soaked up by the sheet. Wow!

Okay, I can't say that I have tried it, or even why I am so enthralled by what it claims to do. I don't actually do that much laundry these days. Doc and I each do our own laundry and Dodger really doesn't have much that needs to be done. My enthusiasm must come from some leftover memory from years ago when I was raising three kids and spent lots and lots of time sorting laundry.

Whew, I've kind of worn out my excitement over this product, but thanks for listening.

And, no, I have no connection to whoever makes it, but I wish they had thought of it 20 years ago.

  1. Wow, something that would eliminate our males showin' up with 'pink' undies. Don't we all do that at least once????

God bless and enjoy your new toy sweetie!!! :o)

  2. I think that is very blog worthy. I'm extremely excited about it and plan to get some the next time I go to the store. I agree, I wish they would have had that 20 years ago. My ex had to wear pink socks more than once!

  3. Boy, this would have been FANTASTIC years ago, when my girls were still at home and I had piles upon piles upon piles of laundry every week. It's still pretty darn cool, if you ask me. I'll be checking it out next time I shop ... unless the price is exorbitant. (Isn't it nuts how expensive detergent has gotten?)

I think the Shout people owe YOU a shout-out ... or at least a free trial size!

  4. OK Jeanie, I'll let your try it first. Mix some bright red, yellow, orange, blues, greens and blacks and tell me the result, please.
    Then...I'll try it.

  5. Hmmm... this sounds very, very interesting. I wonder if it really works. Well, it must right? I'll try to be on the look-out for it. I LOVE household hints on blogs. I've got one tomorrow about peeling garlics that my daughter introduced me to.
