Happy 60th Birthday to Charlie Brown

Today marks the 60th anniversary  of the debut of Charlie Brown and all his Peanuts pals. The beloved cartoon strip first appeared in 4 newspapers on October 1, 1960. In those 60 years the  nervous, insecure little boy has become one of the most recognized cartoon characters in the world.

Way to go, Charlie and Pals!

  6. Poor Charlie never got any respect. But then again, that's why he was and continues to be so famous.

  7. Happy Birthday Charlie Brown and The Flintstones who turned 50...boy that really dates me...I was three when The Flintstones first aired although I was older the first time I saw it. We didn't have a TV when I was three.
