Six Word Saturday

Happy 60th birthday to Mr. Potato Head

It is hard for me to believe that this dapper looking spud turned 60 this month, but it is true. In my opinion Mr. Potato Head is looking pretty good for a sexagenarian. I guess the secret to looking young is being able to plug in a new nose, new eyes or new lips whenever you want to.

  1. I never knew I was (a little) older than Mr. Potato Head -- thought he'd been around forever! How fun is that!

  2. Great post! I'm just slightly younger by a year or so. Wouldn't it be nice to be able to plug in new parts when we got tired of the old ones? What...I can dream!

    Have a great weekend!

Oh to be sixty (I will be in Sept) and not have one teeny~tiny wrinkle.

  7. So funny. When the first came out... did you have to poke the eyes and stuff into a real potato? Now that 60 year old real spud would be mummified (o:

  9. I remember when Mr. Potato Head came on the scene. I think that means I need a new nose, new eyes, new lips, and I'd like some more hair also, please.

  12. That would be great to be able to replace our mouth or eyebrows or whatever (no, not going to say saggy boobs) like Mr Potato Head.
