Football, Football and Finally the Christmas Tree

All my kids and grandkids came over Sunday to decorate my Christmas tree, but first on everyone's minds was the Broncos game.

They weren't a very happy crowd near the end of the 4th quarter when the Broncos were down 10-0.

Another unbelievable overtime win by the Broncos, 13-10, certainly raised the "cheer" level in the room.

The little girls kept their distance from the football chaos with their own game in another room.

The tree finally got decorated. Some of the kids have gotten tall enough that a few ornaments now make it to the top half of the tree.

The group picture......never perfect but always fun.

The tree decorating is one of my favorite family events of the season, even though now that the tree is up I am reminded of everything else I need to get done before Christmas.

  3. I'm glad your family's team won. My family watches hockey playoffs and I know how intense it can get!

Looks like everyone had a good time decorating. When my grandchildren were young like this I would have them come over and decorate my tree also. Those are such happy memories!

  7. David put up our artificial tree on Saturday just to see if the lights all work. Good enough. We still have yet to decorate it. No one seems interested enough to do it, least of all me. Lol.

  10. Hi Jeanie, Loved seeing your kids decorating your tree-how much fun is that! We watched part of the game and then recorded it because of the Christmas program but someone there told us about the win(which upset hubby that they told us)but when we got home we watched it and am glad to know the Broncos pulled it out. Maybe we'll make it to the Superbowl.
    Have a great week.
    Hugs, Noreen

  15. Between you and me, Jeanie, I'm secretly rooting for Denver even though I live in Charger country! (because of Tim Tebow). Heard about the last part of that game yesterday; that was nerve wracking I am sure to actually watch it on TV.

Tree looks so cute! Pictures of the grandchildren so very precious! Indeed a blessing!
