Me and my diabetes have nothing to say. Hmph. Just kidding. Dang I miss slurpees!
Yippee!! We're going to get one later today! We drove by several today and saw people walking away with their free ones :) A dear friend at church had a baby two years ago today; she said one year she's going to have a Slurpee themed birthday party for him when he gets a few years older.betty
Your reminder is falling on deaf ears here! However, I see your Grands didn't miss the treat.
Hi, Jeanie! The way everyone's smiling, those slurpees really hit the spot on a hot day. Did anybody take one home for Dodger? :) Have a wonderful weekend, dear friend Jeanie!
Wish we had one closer!
I miss those days! No sugar here! But what a wonderful picture of the family enjoying a very favorite past-time of mine! Those beautiful smiles say it all!!!
Never heard of such a thing as free much of anything. What a good way for 7*11 to get people into their stores. I wonder if there is one in any of the towns around here.
It was *98 here today - but no 7-11's here. Bet those were yummy! Great photo of your own "sweet things"!
Once again I'm a day late...well, two days late. What a neat idea. What a good looking bunch.
Free Slurpees!?!?!?!!! How did I miss that!YUM.xo jj
Rats! It's a two hour drive into Oklahoma to the nearest 7-11!
Good to know.
Wow, talk about good PR! Unfortunately, I don't think we have any 7-11s around here, but it sure looks like your grandchildren were enjoying their slurpees. I'l bet being FREE made 'em taste all that much sweeter.
I think about taking a blog break more and more often lately. I hope you enjoy yours Chick.
Oh darn! Missed it! Enjoy your blog break. I've discovered that sometimes it's good to take a hiatus. Five weeks was enough though and I'm back.
Hope you're enjoying your blog break and finding lots of things that give you peace and joy!
HAPPY NEW YEAR Chick. I hope you are doing well.
