Six Word Saturday

To participate in 6WS visit Cate here

Had to "borrow" my daughter's blog

which, conveniently, had a 6 word title.

What a difference a day makes

From one day to the next our weather went from near 80, suitable for playing in the leaves,
 in short sleeves and barefoot.....

to snow..... I love this picture of our little man with his little snowman.

It is predicted to be in the 60s over the next few days and near 70 early next week, so we have nothing to complain about. My thoughts and prayers are with those on the east coast of the United States who will be facing Hurricane Sandy. I pray for safety and shelter for those who are in it's path.

  1. Amazing how the weather can change sometimes. We get extremes here too, but no snow. Hopefully after this heat spell we will get some nicer weather again.

Beck looks like he's enjoying his first snowman.

  2. Believe it or not, Hawaii gets snow, too, during the winter -- always on the top of Mauna Kea, where the observatories are. David's brother and family live in Boston, so we are praying that the hurricane bypasses them.

  3. Beck is too cute with his snowman! He will definitely enjoy winter this year for sure! Cute picture of the three grands together too, Jeanie, enjoying the fall leaves! It is that time of year when weather can fluctuate so much; never know "how to dress the kids" from one day to another. It does sound like the storm/hurricane in the East is going to be a major one. My sister is in the DC area; I'm sure they are carefully tracking it all.

I hope you have a good weekend!

  5. Oh I know Jeanie...I am praying for those who are in harms way with the hurricane! I pray for their safety!

My hubby just said that even though we are really cold right now here in the Wichita area...we will have sunshine and mid 60's by next week! Back and forth, back and forth! Cray!

But the Bible tells us to be content...so I am trying! (:>)

I love your little guy's snowman!

Thanks for praying for the Rodgers family. They also live in Delaware, so they are in the path for Sandy!

  9. Our weather in Santa Barbara has been weird also. It's pretty cold (40-50) at night and in the morning but 80 during the day!

  13. It makes me a little sad to know that once this crazy storm passes, essentially fall will be over. The leaves will be taken out in the 100 mph winds-ugh. It has been so gorgeous this autumn! Definitely not ready for snow!

  14. We are having mad weather here too... hot and cold.
I hope Sandy does not cause any deaths... sadly I think it might.

  15. I can't believe that the poor East Coast is having to gird itself for another storm.
