The other day I noticed that I perked right up and listened when I heard an ad for Fruit of the Loom women's underwear. It described the underwear as ultra-soft, comfortable, and flexible. (Huh?)
I can't remember the last time I perked up and paid attention to an ad for Victoria's Secret women's underwear. (Do they even have men's underwear?)
I think this may (sadly) officially confirm that I am really old.

Is it sad that I laughed so hard at this post and totally related.
ReplyDeleteSo funny. I never look at Victoria's Secret anymore either.
ReplyDeleteHmmm..i'm 66 and i perk up when I see Victoria Secret.
ReplyDeleteComfort would be my priority too! Forget the lacy thongs!
ReplyDeleteWas that the ad during the olympics? That add got my attention also...Must be a good advertisement...
ReplyDeleteI knew I was old when I switched from bikini panties to briefs that reach up to my waist. Ha!
ReplyDeleteToo soon old, too late smart!
ReplyDeleteIf you notice the gathering crowd, we all like comfort. Which is smart don't you think?
I know what you mean...I go for comfort over cute anyday...
ReplyDeleteFunny (o: I hate the ad for V S on TV. If I have the remote I change the channel. Porn (o: well practically.
ReplyDeleteIt's not the underwear, it's what's IN the underwear. Underwear is only the wrapping! LOL
ReplyDeleteYou still got it girl!!! ;-)
Ha-this made me smile : )
ReplyDeleteYou and me both. I'll have to check that out!
ReplyDeleteAbout 15 years ago I decided I was only buying really comfortable clothes from then on...soft fabrics, easy fits, etc. I said my clothes "have to give something back to me." Vicky's Secret stuff never fit right, so I never did wear it.
ReplyDeleteMy daughter keeps buying me underwear from Victoria's Secret, but I'm thinking Fruit of the Loom might be more comfortable. :-)
ReplyDeleteI'm laughing here.
ReplyDeleteI can soooo relate!
Comfy? And perhaps crunch in my stomach just a teensy bit?
I'm all for that!
