Furry New Family Member

My daughter, Jill and her family have adopted this precious little Australian Shepard puppy, tentatively named Vista. She has to stay with her momma for another week or so. It has been almost a year since their Lab, Kilee, died and Jared and Justin have been sure it was time for a new dog for a long time. I think they have made the perfect match and they can't wait to bring her to her forever home.

I'm glad they found her and didn't have to settle for one of the dogs in these real newspaper ads.

    Those ads made me laugh!
Somehow I don't think that Yorkshire Terrier is going to find a new home! Sad.

  6. There's nothing that brings a family together like a new puppy, and that goes for grandpuppies as well! The ads are hysterical, though I do feel bad for the eight year old yorkie and hope that someone like the Dog Whisperer adopts him so that he can live out his life with someone who knows how to keep little dogs from turning into Cujo!

  7. Finding the perfect dog is a wonderful thing. I truly believe the saying, "there are no bad dogs, just bad people". There is a big responsibility to owning a dog. I hope they have a wonderful, happy and long life together.
