I know that Spring here has not yet sprung, but after a week of sun and some 60 degree weather we can finally see grass again after several months of having everything covered with snow. We will have more snow, maybe a lot, but it will melt fast. These pictures are not so beautiful, but what they mean is....the worst of winter is past and Spring is on it's way.

Spring is when you feel like whistling even with a shoe full of slush.
Doug Larson
Your flowers make me hopeful. We've had a few days of pretty weather here in Missouri. But our weatherman says not to put the snow shovels up just yet. Thanks for stopping by today.
ReplyDeleteHave a fantastic week,
Debbie
It does just feel different, doesn't it, being not quite spring but definitely toward the tail end of winter. It's getting light earlier in the morning, the sun is at a different angle in the afternoon, the birds are tweeting a little louder, the mockingbirds are staking their claim on the yards. This has been the longest winter in so many ways that just the hint of spring puts in spring in my step!
ReplyDeleteDon't you just love those first spring flowers? We are in Calif. and the daffodils are blooming. Love, love, love 'em :)
ReplyDeleteThank you Lord!
ReplyDeleteAh wonderful - to see flowers and bare earth again.
ReplyDeleteYou can tell spring is coming.....all the kids have spring fever and are completely done for the rest of the school year.
ReplyDeleteI understand your excitement, however, I need to live in a snowy area so I can appreciate the grass a little more. Here the gardeners mow every Friday, year round. Now you have colors to look forward to.
ReplyDeleteYAY for green!! ;0)
ReplyDeleteWoohoo!!! I love the green and the spring. I even went outside without my gloves and got dirt under my nail yesterday. I was cravin' me some dirt. At almost 70 here yesterday they have our highs over the weekend in the low to mid 40's. What a tease that Mother Nature is!!!
ReplyDeleteEnjoy this day and may it be filled with sweet blessings from above!!!
Uh Huh, the pictures are nice. We can see in the pictures the snow melting and you have reason to celebrate.
ReplyDeleteRight now, these photos, this weather outside my window - it's all about hope!!!!! (and, of course, how much winter bites!)
ReplyDeleteBeing able to see grass and the street and no more dirty snow is a SURE sign that Spring is jsut around the corner. YEAH!
ReplyDeleteEnjoy.
