Spring went on a bender around here and we woke up to about a foot of snow this morning.
The "blob" in the middle is a lilac bush that is (was) about 15 feet tall
A springtime winter wonderland
The five foot fence looked about 3 feet tall
I'm really not looking for sympathy, at least not too much. There was a lot of sunshine and melting today. The melting will continue for a couple of days until another storm predicted for the weekend shows up. Then I will be looking for sympathy.
I'm sorry! Hopefully the lilac bush will spring back in the sunshine. Trees and bushes are so forgiving to Mother Nature's wrath. Keep the faith Spring is on the way, baby!
ReplyDeleteStay cozy and have a blessed day!!!
Ok, you can have my sympathy if it makes you feel better, but look how beautiful the snow is! (Here in NW Georgia we were 74 and sunny.)
ReplyDeleteLooks beautiful to me!
ReplyDeleteI would love to have just one more snow, but we are too warm for it. Instead, I will enjoy yours!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful pictures!
You have to admit, it is very beautiful!
ReplyDeleteStay inside nice and warm!
It certainly is a pretty scene but oh my goodness. My husband just told me our temps are due to drop to 20 degrees tomorrow. Brrrr!
ReplyDeleteSnow is beautiful in December...not at the end of March.
ReplyDeleteI agree with the comment above. Snow in March is a cruel joke from Mother Nature. I guess she has a sense of humor. Hopefully the lilac bush will bounce back. Have a great day.
ReplyDeleteOh my - I'll throw buckets of sympathy your way.
ReplyDeleteI'm so glad it's acting like spring here.
I keep telling my hubby not to count on this being over yet, there is a pile of snow left at the end of the cul-de-sac. I am sending you a hug to warm you up and sympathy too.
ReplyDeleteOh Man! THAT is headed my way! And our Brownie troop was so excited to finally see some bulbs we planted beginning to pop up!!
ReplyDeleteI like snow. Wish it snowed here.
