We woke up to a lot of white in my city this morning. There is nothing more quiet and peaceful than an early morning walk in the snow. We have 6-8 inches now with a foot predicted by the end of the day.

There is snow

and more snow

I missed the best picture, me falling and sliding down a hill on my bum.

There will be chili for dinner tonight.

  1. Ooohh you have so much snow!! I am so envious. We get snow here, around the first part of the year, but it's nothing like what you have. I am so envious:) Have a beautiful winter white sunday!!!

  2. I was thinking this is too early for snow, but then I saw that you are in Colorado. It looks pretty, and the chili sounds good.

  3. Wow. I am not sure that I am ready for snow yet, but I sure love looking at other people's pics of it! And chili for dinner on snowy nights is the BEST.

  4. I am soooo not ready for the white stuff to fall. I hope you weren't hurt. My kids worry about me falling out here on the Ponderosa by myself and I just laugh and tell them I have on so many layers....I just bounce back up.

    Have a wonderful week!!!

  5. I made chili too! Kind of... browned my meat in onion and garlic. There's a potlcuk/pitch in at work tomrrow and I'm taking all the ingredients separately and assembling in the crock pot when I get there.

    The snow is lovely!!

  6. Mmmm, chili in the cold. I hope you and your bum are okay.

I love the pictures I have never been in snow so this is very "exotic" to me.

  7. This is the kind of snow kids want to see first thing Monday morning so they get a "snow day" off school.

Thanks for sharing your city-- Stay warm!

  8. It looks SO PRETTY! I would love to have a white Christmas! Here it is almost summer!
I don't like being cold... so maybe I should be thankful we don't have snow... even though it's so pretty!
