Does everyone have one of these......a really awful picture with Santa? At 3 or 4 I was apparently not too thrilled with the idea of sitting on the jolly ol' guy's lap., or maybe the strap on that hat was just a little too tight.
I hope you are laughing with me, not at me.
what a cute picture, Jeanie, and a wonderful thing to have! I know I have seen Santa in my "youth" but I don't think I have a picture of him and me. So I think this is a good memorbilia to have (even if it might not be the best picture you ever took :)
ReplyDeleteMy kids have pictures from Santa almost every year of their lives. I liked to have them to see how much they grew from year to year; Santa always stayed the same, but you could see their growth over the years and how shy (or crying) they were to big smiles on their faces
hope you have a great Wednesday!
betty
I'm definetely laughing WITH you. I don't think we will ever have a Santa picture of my Grandchild. Sigh...
ReplyDeleteLMAO.....I guess that my parents might have some pictures of me with Santa. I'll have to ask them.
ReplyDeleteIt does remind me of one visit with Santa that I distinctly remember. I was going on and on telling Santa what I wanted for Christmas, and let me tell ya....it was one freaking long list. I remember seeing Santa look up at my mom with that "I feel sorry for you" look. Of course, at the time, I didn't recognize the look, but thinking back, that's exactly the look he was giving her.
Heeehehehe, ya look like your in a Santa trance. Cute pic. I can't believe over all the years and all the pictures there is no picture of Santa and me. Go figure....
ReplyDeleteGod bless and have a super day!!! :o)
I think you are so lucky to have this picture! It's really cute. You know I can't even remember if I saw Santa when I was little.
ReplyDeleteLove it
ReplyDeleteSooo wish I had a picture like that (o:
by the way...Sun Flower Farm is the right name...see...this season is getting to me. Oh wait...I make that kind of mistake in any season (o: Love that Place. Wish it was cheaper...but still love it.
probably : ) I need to dig thru more photos here I guess. I love it though...it captures the age and the time and I sometimes think these are the kind of photos that really give us a peek into the personalities we had as kids.
ReplyDeleteOh, I don't think this photo is all that bad. I think it's awfully cute. You should see the one of my granddaughter. She is full out crying (screaming) and Santa is trying very hard not to cry, too.
ReplyDeleteAt least you're not screaming and trying to jump off his lap. I always laugh when I see kids at the mall with beet red, wet faces, like they are being tortured by Santa.
ReplyDeleteOh yes-- I definitely have more than a few of those pictures.
ReplyDeleteYou make me smile (and I swear, I'm not laughing)
Cheers, jj
What a lovely treasure to have! I don't have any photos of myself with Santa. I do believe I'd look even less thrilled with the visit. (Maybe that's why no photos of me with him have survived.)
ReplyDeleteprecious...all my sons photos with Santa have me with him...he didn't like it at all...my daughter loved it...
ReplyDeleteOf course Jeanie with you! Always with you! Trust me, I have one where I'm crying so hard, I'm snotting all over Santa's red suit. Nobody looks happy in the picture.
ReplyDeleteLaughing with you - because I have one just about like that!
ReplyDeletePoor you. My kids were terrified of Santa for a long time too!
ReplyDeleteI've got a few pixes squirreled away, which my peeps could probably spring out to embarrass me at the slightest provocation. You should send this one in to Awful Family Photos. It's a winner!
